How do I add payment methods for payments and refunds?
You can modify the Payment Methods that are available when recording a payment or refund.
For example, if you use an external bank transfer, you can add that as an available option for your payments.
Smartphone
- From the main screen, select Settings
- Select Manage System Lists
- Select Payment Methods.
- Tap the + icon to add a new payment method.
- Select a Method Type. "Cash" will not prompt for further information on the payment. "Credit Card" will prompt for credit card details. "Check" will prompt for a check number.
- Tap the Checkmark to save your changes.
Windows PC
- From the Main Screen, select Settings.
- Select Payment Methods from the Payment section.
- To add a new payment method, select New and enter the description.
- Select a Method Type. "Cash" will not prompt for further information on the payment. "Credit Card" will prompt for credit card details. "Check" will prompt for a check number.
- To edit a payment method, select the payment method and click Edit.
- Close the Categories screen and then the Settings screen to save your changes.
- For the changes to take effect on your mobile device, select Sync from the menu on the main screen of the Street Invoice app.
